SPORTS hound is a new quarterly supplement included in the Messenger Post which will include articles and information about all of your favorite local sporting events.

Sporting events in Monroe County contribute significantly to our community's economic vitality and quality of life. In 2008, more than 90 different sporting events brought over 100,000 visitors, which included 32,000 hotel room nights, with an economic impact of over $61 million.
