Whether you are talking about the Rochester Red Wings, the Rochester Americans, or any of our college or university teams, Monroe County has a sporting event for everyone to enjoy.

Sports also contribute significantly to our community’s economic vitality and quality of life. For the next three years, Monroe County will host the National Senior Games Championship where thousands of world-class athletes will travel here to compete. Not only will this provide a tremendous boost to our local economy, it also helps puts Monroe County on the map.
