The Gymnastics Training Center of Rochester in Penfield, NY is joining with the International Olympic Committee and organizations across the US to celebrate Olympic Day, the birthday of the Olympics. They will be hosting a two day event open to the public that will feature exhibitions by the GTC's Men's and Women's Special Olympics team as well as the GTC's Junior Olympic Competitive team, special guest Paralympian Bob Balk, free participation in the gym with a signed waiver, and great dinner options.
Friday June 20th: From 3:30-4:30 enjoy an exhibition by the GTC's Men's and Women's Special Olympics teams as well as some great food options.
Saturday June 21st: From 3:30-5:00 enjoy the experiences of six time Paralympian Bob Balk as he shares his stories leading up to, during, and after his Olympic experience. Then watch an exhibition by the GTC Junior Olympic Competitive Men's and Women's team, followed by an opportunity to "work out" in the gym on the various Olympic Events, with free participation for all ages with a signed waiver.
